Jon Goulder continues a four-generation legacy of producing refined, thoughtfully made furniture. Each piece is handcrafted using the highest quality materials, created with longevity in mind and intended to be lived with and passed down through generations.

Working as a designer-maker, Jon is widely recognised for his mastery of craft and his considered approach to design. His practice spans one-off commissions, small-run furniture editions and complete interior environments.

Growing up in Bowral, NSW, as a fourth-generation furniture maker, Jon’s connection to furniture began early. His formative years as a pupil of George Ingham, Inaugural Head of the Wood Workshop at the ANU School of Art, shaped a practice grounded in technical rigour, material exploration and artistic innovation.

His work has received multiple design awards and is held in the permanent collections of Australian State and National Museums and Art Galleries, including the National Gallery of Australia.
