Piano Credenza is the literal transformation of a 1880s upright piano into a contemporary credenza, designed by Adam Goodrum.

A tactile relationship to the old piano has been created by reuse of a massive quantity of its external and internal materials. The client’s fifty year old sheet music and the black skin of the piano oscillate to create the lenticular pattern.

It was a privilege to hear the stories that the piano still evoked and to be entrusted with creating a new functional life for this important object.
