Just as manufacturing companies recall faulty products, Broached is recalling design periods that have fallen out of favour, correcting them within a current aesthetic. This involves harvesting antiques for their useful parts or sourcing deadstock and heritage materials, for the production of new furniture typologies.

The Broached Recall Large Monolith: Fidele Luce is distinctly decorated and inconspicuously functional. Meticulously crafted from antique Italian Canaletto walnut veneer and colourful stained birch by esteemed industrial designer and fabrication director Federico Gregorutti, this work expands the pattern language of the Recall collection to include a full-bellied figure named Fidele Luce, a charismatic talisman who honours the spirit of entrepreneurialism.

The Fidele Luce Large Monolith features a top cupboard with shelves and five individual drawers that open to the front and right-side of the object. The cupboard and drawers are revealed with the use of a removable magnetic handle, designed to function as the link between the Monolith and its user without breaking the minimalist form and modernist pattern developed by John Warwicker. A limited edition piece, Fidele Luce can be made to order in a range of precious archival timber veneers. Customisations to size and storage are also welcome.
