Just as manufacturing companies recall faulty products, Broached is recalling design periods that have fallen out of favour, correcting them within a current aesthetic. This involves harvesting antiques for their useful parts or sourcing deadstock and heritage materials, for the production of new furniture typologies.

The Broached Recall Large Monolith is inconspicuously functional. It features two cupboards with shelves and three individual drawers that open to the front and right-side of the object. The cupboards and drawers are revealed with the use of a removable magnetic handle, designed to function as the link between the Monolith and its user without breaking the minimalist form and pattern, whose graphic language was first developed by John Warwicker in 2019.

An open edition piece, the Large Monolith can be specified in heritage antique or Elton Group archival veneers. The Large Monolith can be specified in a variety of heritage timber veneers sourced from the archive of Elton Group. Customisations to size are also welcome.
