Just as manufacturing companies recall faulty products, Broached is recalling design periods that have fallen out of favour, correcting them within a current aesthetic. This involves harvesting antiques for their useful parts or sourcing deadstock and heritage materials, for the production of new furniture typologies.

The Broached Recall Medium Monolith transforms John Warwicker’s graphic language into a three dimensional form, fabricated using contemporary and heritage timber veneers supplied by Elton Group. This piece features two drawers and an S shaped hidden door. A magnetic detachable handle activates the use of each compartment. This playful interaction renders the Monolith an ideal object to store artefacts.

The Medium Monolith has delicately mitred edges which accentuate the sharp, linear qualities of the form and pattern. The object is finished with a satin polish. The Medium Monolith can be specified in a variety of heritage timber veneers sourced from the archive of Elton Group. Customisations to size are also welcome.
