Broached Exceptions designed by Mimi Jung is defined by breaking conventions on many layers. It is the first time Mimi has worked in glass and the first time Broached has embarked on creative direction based on a non-Australian narrative, and one that is so autobiographical.

The Stacked Glass Form prototypes were manufactured by Judson Glass in Los Angeles. The rough edges reveal layers of moulded glass that have been stacked and fused to create a single piece. Each layer represents a process of intricate weaving. When layered up voids are created. The temporality of weaving creates a calm and consistent rhythmic feeling whilst the three dimensional glass version reveals weightiness and voids.
